I feel the story is what makes people relate to what the song is trying to express. Today’s music definitely has an effect on people. The genres are put together in a way that by using lyrics that people are able to connect to that pulls at certain emotions. The artist/producer may be focused on a certain way they would like the listener to feel with that song.
